Cocoatech is a Los Angeles-based Macintosh software company. Actually, more specifically, Cocoatech is software developer, skate / snow boarder, Black Sabbath nut, and espresso connoisseur Steve Gehrman, who has been developing software for over 20 years.
Steve is aided and abetted by his wife, Miho, and Neil Lee, a web designer / ne'er-do-well from the frozen tundra lovely green fields of Canada.

Useless Steve-related trivia
- Thousands of screenplay writers both wannabe and well-known can thank Steve for contributing tons of code to versions 4 and 5 of the famous screenplay editor application, Final Draft.
Genesis: Steve's first Mac was a IIcx, with a 13" Apple monitor, a whopping 8mbs of ram, and an 80mb hard drive. He thinks he paid around $5000 for it.- The horse he rode in on: Dual G4 1.25, 22" Cinema, 23" Cinema, 30 gig iPod, Airport, 1gig ram, Apple pro speakers, Logitech scroll mouse, coffee mug.
- Steve has never used Windows in his entire life (except for clicking the mouse a couple of times at a friend's place).
- Call him cat lover man: Steve has two cats.
- He a deep interest in all things Japanese, especially Japanese cuisine.
- This has probably something to do with the fact that Steve is married to Miho. Yes, she's Japanese.
