With a bit of Objective-C and Cocoa knowledge, Path Finder is relatively easy to extend with custom-built plugins. Much of Path Finder's built-in functionality exists as plugins, so we're “eating my own dog food” as the saying goes.

We've included lots of sample code which are real world plugins, not half baked “hello world” examples - these are the same plugins shipping with Path Finder. If you write a useful plugin, we'll gladly ship it in the official release. We'd eventually like to open a plugins section on our website provided we get enough active developers building cool Path Finder plugins.
