Path Finder 5.0
Path Finder 5.0 is a major update and a paid upgrade for all previous Path Finder customers. While there are some big new features in this release, the primary goal with this update was a major rewrite to optimize Path Finder for Mac OS X 10.5 and to take advantage of a number of new Mac OS X 10.5-only technologies.
As such this release requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. For customers still running Mac OS X 10.4 there is Path Finder 4.8.5, available from the Downloads page.
New features
- Dual pane file browser (click the dual pane icon located at the bottom left corner of the file browser)
- CoverFlow view - available in any view (list, column, icon) and also in the bottom pane
- New Sidebar and a Drop Stack redesign
- Network shares browsing in the sidebar now works for both AFP and SMB/CIFS
