Open Source
Updated January 14, 2005: With the release of Path Finder 4 many of these frameworks have been extensively rewritten and updated. We will be updating these frameworks in the new future, as well as releasing lots of new plugin code, so check back soon!

The Cocoa frameworks used to create Path Finder, and source code used to write Path Finder plugins are now open source and ready for immediate download.

Included in the source code package are two powerful frameworks: CocoaTechBase and CocoaTechFoundation. These two frameworks make up the heart and soul of Path Finder.

Also included are 5 real world Path Finder plugins. These aren't simplified versions: these are the actual full plugins that ship with Path Finder. Available are "Hex View", "Image Converter", "Get Info", "Disk Image", and a sample plugin designed to be a perfect starting point to write your own Path Finder plugin.

In addition, CocoaTechTerminal allows you to put a real working terminal in a plain NSView. It's super simple. Build your own Terminal.app in about 5 minutes. CocoaTechTerminal is based on the iTerm source code.

Everything you need is in one downloadable file:
