June 25, 2004Most people in the US think Krispy Kreme tastes good. Go to Japan and you'll realized that American's don't know shit about food.
Beard Papa's is a good example. The world's best creme puffs made fresh daily and they put the creme in when you order it so it's not soggy. They just opened the first US store in NY and there are lines as far as the eye can see.
If Japanese fast food and snack foods came to the US, you could say good by to Burger King, McDonald's, Krispy Kremes etc. It would be a blood bath. In Japan, food rules, even the cheap fast food is better than the expensive stuff here. I miss Japan :(
