Path Finder SDK

July 5, 2007

I just posted the new Path Finder 4.7.1 today along with the new Path Finder SDK.

It took months of development time to create the simplest possible way of creating plugins for Path Finder, and I've converted much of my own code to run as a plugin. I'm "eating my own dog food" as the saying goes.

If you know Cocoa, please take a look and email us if you have questions. I included lots of sample code which are real world plugins, not half baked "hello world" plugins. These are the same plugins shipping with Path Finder. If you write a good plugins, I'll gladly ship it in the official release. I also plan on hosting your plugins on my server if we get lots of developers writing cool plugins.

Take a look at the tutorials and try improving the samples. The SDK is part of the Path Finder download DMG so look for it in there.

I'll post more info later, but there's plenty of info to get started.
